Air Handler Maintenance and Service

Air Handlers are normally used in conjunction with heat pumps. They work year-round taking care of air movement needs in both the heating and cooling cycles. They consist of a blower assembly, a coil and auxiliary heating elements. When it is so cold outside that a heat pump cannot keep up with the demands of the home, the auxiliary heating elements supplement the heat pump to keep you warm and comfortable.

To help your air handler run at maximum efficiency, it is very important that your air handler undergo a spring maintenance check twice a year in the spring and fall. Our Certified HVAC experts will inspect and maintain your air handler and any other major component of your heating and cooling system
